Effects of encapsulation elasticity on the stability of an encapsulated microbubble
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2009A model for gas transport from an encapsulated microbubble into the surrounding medium is developed and investigated incorporating the effects of encapsulation elasticity. Encapsulation elasticity stabilizes microbubbles against dissolution and explains the long shelf life of microbubble contrast agent.

Sclerosing Encapsulating Peritonitis Combined With Peritoneal Encapsulation
Archives of Surgery, 1993The combined occurrence of idiopathic sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis and peritoneal encapsulation is described. A 52-year-old man presented with intestinal obstruction. The results of preoperative examinations were suggestive of sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis.

Drop Encapsulated in Bubble: A New Encapsulation Structure
Physical Review Letters, 2018A new fluid encapsulation structure, which is characterized by a bubble encapsulating a drop, is reported. It is stably generated from the breakup of a liquid column inside a bubble, which is achieved via the injection of Taylor flow into liquid. A model is constructed to explain the liquid column breakup mechanism.
