The genus Hypericum(Hypericaceae), inclusive about 450 species, has spread in various parts of theworld. The members of this species have been used for centuries as traditionalmedicinal plants. Turkey is an important gene center for the genus Hypericum which represented by nearly100 taxa grouped under 19 sections.
