Nanoscale Curvature Regulates YAP/TAZ Nuclear Localization Through Nuclear Deformation and Rupture
This study uses experiments and biophysical modeling to examine the response and adaptation of cells to nanoscale topography of surfaces. It is shown that cytoskeletal assembly and nuclear localization of transcription regulatory factors such as yes‐associated protein (YAP) and transcriptional coactivator with PDZ‐binding motif (TAZ) can be tuned by ...

Designing Tunable DNA Condensates to Control Membrane Budding Transformation in Synthetic Cells
In giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs), membrane wetting of encapsulated liquid‐liquid phase‐separated DNA condensates can be precisely triggered post‐fabrication using photoactivatable DNA‐lipid linkers. On free‐standing membranes, interactions between DNA condensates and the membrane lead to outward budding, resembling exocytosis.

Tumor‐Associated Glycan Exploits Adenosine Receptor 2A Signaling to Facilitate Immune Evasion
This study identifies Globo H ceramide (GHCer) as a novel immune checkpoint molecule that suppresses the activation of conventional T lymphocytes while promoting the differentiation and function of regulatory T cells. The immunosuppressive effects of GHCer are mediated through the activation of the A2AR/cAMP/PKA pathway, which involves its interactions
