Dose‐Dependent Reprogramming of Chromatin Accessibility by SOX4 Drives the Transcriptional Response to Iron Overload

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Dysgerminoma and granulosa cell tumor in a bitch

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Veterinary Pathology, 2016
Dysgerminoma and granulosa cell tumor are neoplasms of the ovary of domestic animals, originating from germ cells and sex-cords cells, respectively. These neoplasms generally occur unilaterally, and usually as a single neoplasm.

Engineering Approaches to Modify Immunomodulatory Functions of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs): Tissue Regeneration and Clinical Application

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

A Silent Intruder: Diagnosing and Managing a Uterine Polyp in a Young Female [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research
Endometrial polyps are asymptomatic benign neoplasms of the uterine lining that often result in Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB), an illness that is frequently encountered in clinical practice [1].

Disruption of the SNRPF–DDX24–E2F4 Feedback Loop Uncouples Splicing and Transcriptional Regulation to Suppress Ovarian Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies SNRPF as a critical oncogenic driver in ovarian cancer. By regulating a self‐sustaining SNRPF–DDX24–E2F4 feedback loop through intron retention and nonsense‐mediated decay, SNRPF couples RNA splicing with transcriptional regulation to promote tumor progression.

Carcinosarcoma of uterus

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2023
Uterine carcinosarcoma, which is categorized as high-grade endometrial cancer, is an uncommon kind of malignant gynecological neoplasms. Clinically, this tumor frequently affects menopausal women and the main symptom is abnormally postmenopausal vaginal ...

Fosl2 Regulates FSH‐Dependent Follicle Maturation Through Feedback Amplification of FSH/FSHR Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a FOSL2‐driven positive feedback loop that amplifies FSH/FSHR signaling. During FSH‐dependent follicle maturation, FSH induces Fosl2 expression via the cAMP‐PKA‐CREB cascade. FOSL2 in turn binds the promoters of Fshr and estrogen‐biosynthesis genes to enhance their transcription, thereby increasing Fshr mRNA level and amplifying ...

Breast metastasis in high-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (HG-ESS) with BCOR rearrangement: a case report of a novel metastatic site

open access: yesDiagnostic Pathology, 2023
Background The ZC3H7B-BCOR fusion gene has recently been described in tumours with kinship to so-called high grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (HG-ESS).
