Dietary patterns and endometrial cancer: a meta-analysis

European Journal of Cancer Prevention, 2017
Previous studies have attempted to assess the relation between different dietary patterns and the risk of endometrial cancer (EC); however, a consistent perspective has not been established to date. Therefore, we carried out this meta-analysis to evaluate the associations between dietary patterns and the risk of EC.

Postmenopausal endometrial patterns and serum estradiol concentrations

International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1988
AbstractEighty postmenopausal women were subjected to endometrial biopsy. Inadequate biopsy was recorded in 30 cases. In the remaining cases (n = 50) the correlation between endometrial patterns and serum estradiol (E2) was performed. These cases were presenting with uterine bleeding (n = 38) or minor gynecological symptoms (n = 12).

Histological patterns in endometrial samples from perimenopausal women

Maturitas, 1999
Evaluation of endometrial histology patterns in perimenopausal women.Endometrial biopsies (202) taken from perimenopausal women by suction curette were assessed by light microscopy.Out of 142 adequate specimens a total of 82 (57.7%) specimens could not be classified in the well-defined categories of the fertile period because of mixed histological ...

EP575 Patterns of relapse in endometrial cancer

International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, 2019

Pattern of recurrence in patients with endometrial cancer: A retrospective study

European Journal of Surgical Oncology, 2020
Endometrial cancer (EC) known prognostic factors are not sufficient to predict either outcome or recurrence rate/site: to investigate EC recurrence patterns according to ESMO-ESGO-ESTRO risk classes, could be beneficial for a more tailored adjuvant treatment and follow-up schedule.758 women diagnosed with EC, and a 5-years follow-up, were enrolled ...

Endometrial patterns in malformed uteri.

Acta Europaea fertilitatis, 1984
In the 12 subsep uteri the endometrium covering the septum was studied using light microscopy, electronic scanning microscopy and electronic transmission microscopy for the purpose of determining if it should be considered a reason for inadequate implantation and therefore justify an anomalous evolution of pregnancy. The results show that compared with

Endometrial Papillary Serous Carcinoma: Patterns of Spread and Treatment

Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1996
Uterine papillary serous carcinoma exemplifies the potential for Müllerian epithelium at any site to differentiate along histologic patterns that replicate Müllerian epithelium at other sites, especially when neoplastic. Papillary serous differentiation is most commonly associated with epithelial ovarian carcinoma.
