Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

In this study, we explored the cosmological implications of the modified gravity framework f(R,Lm), taking the specific form f(R,Lm)=R2+Lmn, where n denotes the model parameter.

Statefinders, higher-order energy conditions and sudden future singularities
We link observational parameters such as the deceleration parameter, the jerk, the kerk (snap) and higher-order derivatives of the scale factor, called statefinders, to the conditions which allow to develop sudden future singularities of pressure with ...

A Synthetic Null Energy Condition
We give a simplified approach to Kunzinger & Saemann's theory of Lorentzian length spaces in the globally hyperbolic case; these provide a nonsmooth framework for general relativity. We close a gap in the regularly localizable setting, by showing consistency of two potentially different notions of timelike geodesic segments used in the literature ...

Energy conditions in non-local gravity [PDF]
We investigate the different energy conditions in non-local gravity, which is obtained by adding an arbitrary function of d’Alembertian operator, [Formula: see text], to the Hilbert–Einstein action. We analyze the validity of four different energy conditions and illustrate the different constraints over parameters of the power-law solution as well as ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Low-energy sum rules and large-$N_c$ consistency conditions
The large-$N_c$ consistency conditions for axial vector and isovector magnetic couplings of pions to baryons are discussed from the point of view of low-energy current-algebra sum rules (Adler-Weisberger, Cabibbo-Radicati). In particular, we show how the

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Vacuum energy in conical space with additional boundary conditions
Total vacuum energy of some quantized fields in conical space with additional boundary conditions is calculated. These conditions are imposed on a cylindrical surface which is coaxial with the symmetry axis of conical space.
