The dual nature of TDC – bridging dendritic and T cells in immunity
TDC are hematopoietic cells combining dendritic and T cell features. They reach secondary lymphoid organs (SLOs) and peripheral organs (liver and lungs) after FLT3‐dependent development in the bone marrow and maturation in the thymus. TDC are activated and enriched in SLOs upon viral infection, suggesting that they might play unique immune roles, since

Biased or Not?: The Story of Two Search Engines [PDF]
Search engines can be considered as a gate to the world of WEB, and they also decide what we see for a given search query. Since many people are exposed to information through search engines, it is fair to expect that search engines should be neutral; i.e.

Ideal Engine Durations For Gamma-Ray-Burst-Jet Launch [PDF]
Aiming to study GRB engine duration, we present numerical simulations to investigate collapsar jets. We consider typical explosion energy ($10^{52}$ erg) but different engine durations, in the widest domain to date from 0.1 to 100 s. We employ an AMR 2D hydrodynamical code. Our results show that engine duration strongly influences jet nature.

In vivo IL‐10 produced by tissue‐resident tolDC is involved in maintaining/inducing tolerance. Depending on the agent used for ex vivo tolDC generation, cells acquire common features but prime T cells towards anergy, FOXP3+ Tregs, or Tr1 cells according to the levels of IL‐10 produced. Ex vivo‐induced tolDC were administered to patients to re‐establish/

R-GA: AN EFFICIENT METHOD FOR PREDICTIVE MODELING OF MEDICAL DATA USING A COMBINED APPROACH OF RANDOM FORESTS AND GENETIC ALGORITHM [PDF]
Medical data mainly includes data of patients and their associated symptoms. Detecting a disease is becoming costly in terms of money and effort. Medical care will be much better if the predictions can be made with minimal efforts.
