TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

An investigation into the mechanics of agricultural discs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
A prediction model based upon Mohr-Coulomb soil mechanics theory has been developed to predict the interaction between the soil and agricultural discs of different geometries and operating angles to both vertical and tilted discs.

Математическая модель для определения конструктивной массы почвообрабатывающего орудия [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The authors have shown that the tillage specific constructive weight affects the working width and penetration ability. In order to increase the working width of the tillage implement, and therefore its performance and economic efficiency as well as its ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

An investigation into the design of cultivation systems for inter- and intra-row weed control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The aim of this study was to investigate the factors that influence the design of soil engaging systems to mechanically control weeds between plants within the crop row in widely spaced field vegetables.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Manufacture of agricultural tools, implements and machinery in the West African sub region [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
The deteriorating per capital food availability, compounded by drought in recent years, led the OAU Heads of States and the United Nations General Assembly to adopt Africa's Priority Programme for Economic Recovery, 1986- 1990 (APPER) and the United ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

An investigation into the design of precision weeding mechanisms for inter or intra-row weed control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
There is an increasing interest in the use of mechanical intra-row weeders because of concern over environmental degradation and a growing demand for organically produced food.
