Work-family enrichment: it’s mediating role in the relationships between dispositional factors and job satisfaction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The growing interest in understanding the interface of work and family roles, in particular work-family enrichment, and its antecedents and outcomes, has stimulated the development of a mediation model.

Enriched Classification and Dynamic Tunneling as Elementary Internet Mechanisms

open access: yes, 2005
We make the case that mechanisms for enriched classification and dynamic tunneling with a common elementary protocol is both necessary and sufficient for facilitating mobile IP services in highly environments. Moreover, we claim that device initiated handoffs simplify the network infrastructure and are in general more suitable in highly mobile and ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

An XPS investigation of thermal degradation and charring on poly(vinyl chloride)–clay nanocomposites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
More information concerning the thermal degradation and charring of nanocomposites of poly(vinyl chloride), dioctyl phthalate and clay has been obtained by the use of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and the acquisition of the carbon (C1s), chlorine ...

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Research progress in the geochemistry characteristics of scandium in Chinese coals

open access: yesMeitan kexue jishu
Scandium (Sc), which has a high melting point and a low density, is widely used in lighting, alloys, ceramics, catalysts, and other industrial fields. Under a specific geological condition, Sc could be enriched in certain coal. As one of strategic metals

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
