An enriched meshless method for non‐linear fracture mechanics
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2003AbstractThis paper presents an enriched meshless method for fracture analysis of cracks in homogeneous, isotropic, non‐linear‐elastic, two‐dimensional solids, subject to mode‐I loading conditions. The method involves an element‐free Galerkin formulation and two new enriched basis functions (Types I and II) to capture the Hutchinson–Rice–Rosengren ...

Mechanisms of Lithium Enrichment and Metallogenesis in a Simulated Montmorillonite–Fluid System
Langmuir, 2023Due to strong industrial demand for Li, Li-bearing montmorillonite (Li-Mt) deposits are a focus for exploration, but the Li enrichment mechanisms in such deposits are unclear. In this study, adsorption experiments and mineralogical analyses were used to investigate the water-rock reactions at different Li concentrations, temperatures, durations, and pH

Effectiveness and mechanisms of enriched environment in post-stroke cognitive impairment
Behavioural Brain Research, 2021Post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) is one of the most common complications of stroke, it is also an important reason for the poor prognosis in stroke patients with motor and speech dysfunction. Enriched Environment (EE), a novel and easy-to-implement rehabilitation treatment strategy, is thought to be a potential intervention for PSCI recently. In

Retention mechanism and enrichment of glycopeptides on titanium dioxide
Analytical Methods, 2013A uniform method for the facile and selective enrichment of glycopeptides with titanium dioxide (TiO2) is presented. Retention mechanisms between glycopeptides and TiO2 were explored by checking the influence of acetonitrile content, NH3·H2O concentration and formic acid concentration on the retention of glycopeptides.
