ABSTRACT The article explores the evolution of research on giftedness and high ability through a bibliometric analysis. It highlights challenges in identifying gifted individuals, who represent approximately 6.5% of students, although biased instruments and discriminatory selection practices may affect the identification of high skilled students.

Lower jaw fracture in a Zebu × Brown Swiss calf due to attack by domestic dogs (Canis familiaris)

Abstract The objective of this report is to describe the case of a calf attacked by domestic dogs, which caused an incomplete fracture of the left lower jaw, resulting in bone exposure within the oral cavity. Clinical evolution is described 3 months post‐attack. The exposed portion of the fractured bone was removed, as well as two small bone fragments.
