The use of aquaculture effluent for irrigation of field crops has been suggested as the most appropriate biological method for treatment of this effluent. AbstractThis paper reports on two cases of poisoning which occurred last July 2004 which were suspected to be from the pods of E. contortisiliquum eaten by goats raised in the state of Paraiba, Brazil.
