Contortisiliosides H–M: Triterpenoid saponins from Enterolobium contortisiliquum and their biological activity

Industrial Crops and Products, 2019
Abstract Six new triterpenoid saponins, including four bisdesmosidic compounds, contortisiliosides H – K (1 – 4), and two monodesmosidic compounds, contortisiliosides L and M (7, 8), along with two known ones, contortisiliosides E and F (5, 6) were isolated from the ethanolic extract of the pericarps of Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Leguminosae ...

Physical methods of overcoming dormancy of Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Vell.) Morong seeds.

2022
This study aimed to identify the most effective physical method for overcoming dormancy of Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Vell.) Morong seeds. (monkfish), which have a high level of dormancy and low germination, which can hinder seedling production. A completely randomized design was used consisting of six treatments, each with 40 replications, sown in

Effect of Pre-Sowing Treatment of Enterolobium Contortisiliquum (Vell.) Morong Seed

Indian Journal of Forestry, 2012
Enterolobium contortisiliquum a nitrogen fixing tree species produces hardcoated and light brown colour seeds. Seed has physical dormancy due to hardiness of testa. Suitable pretreatment to break the dormancy was investigated. Germination was enhanced from 5.87% (untreated) to 93.17% (mechanical scarification).

Regional substrates in germination, growth and natural nodulation of Enterolobium contortisiliquum

2016
The purpose of this study was to evaluate seed germination, biometric indexes and nodulation of Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Vell.) Morong seedlings grown on different regional substrates plus samples of the B horizon of a Yellow Latosol. The treatments were constituted of the following proportions (v/v) of three residues (bagana of carnauba, organic
