Determination of vapor pressures, enthalpies of sublimation, and enthalpies of fusion of benzenetriols

Thermochimica Acta, 2004
Molar enthalpies of sublimation of 1,2,4-, 1,2,3-, and 1,3,5-tri-hydroxy-benzene, were obtained from the temperature dependence of the vapor pressure measured by the transpiration method. The molar enthalpies of fusion and molar heat capacities of these compounds were measured by DSC.

Enthalpies of combustion, vapour pressures, and enthalpies of sublimation of the 1,5- and 1,8-diaminonaphthalenes

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 2010
Abstract The standard (p∘ = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of formation, in the crystalline state, of 1,5-diaminonaphthalene and 1,8-diaminonaphthalene were derived from the standard molar energies of combustion, in oxygen, at T = 298.15 K, measured by static-bomb combustion calorimetry.

Ferrocene: Temperature adjustments of sublimation and vaporization enthalpies

Fluid Phase Equilibria, 2018
Abstract Knowledge of the vapor pressures and the sublimation/vaporization enthalpies of a metalorganic precursor can be indispensable for optimizing a deposition process. Unfortunately, published measurements of those values are often referred to a unique temperature, and comparing such studies requires adjusting the data to a common temperature. We

Microwave-assisted synthesis and sublimation enthalpies of hemiporphyrazines

Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines, 2019
It was established that microwave irradiation solvent-free processing of 2,6- diaminopyridine or 1,3-phenylenediamine with phthalonitrile or 4-tert-butylphthalonitrile led to corresponding hemiporphyrazines with sufficiently high yields and a huge reduction in the time required for synthesis, from 8–12 h to 20 min.

Enthalpies of fusion and enthalpies of solvation of aromatic hydrocarbons derivatives: Estimation of sublimation enthalpies at 298.15 K

Thermochimica Acta, 2016
© 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.Enthalpy of sublimation of solid compound can be found using the values of solution enthalpy and solvation enthalpy in any solvent. In this work enthalpies of solution at infinite dilution of a number of aromatic hydrocarbons derivatives in benzene were measured at 298.15 K.

Microcalorimetric determination of the enthalpy of sublimation of cadmium

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1971
A Calvet microcalorimeter was used to determine the standard sublimation enthalpy Δ H ° vap of cadmium in the temperature range 498 to 590K. The Knudsen mass loss method was used, simultaneously, to determine the vapour pressure of cadmium. Second and third law treatment of the results gave values of Δ H ° vap (298.15K) sublimation of (26636 ± 73 ...
