Typical and extreme entropies of long-lived isolated quantum systems
In this paper, we investigate and compare two well-developed definitions of entropy relevant for describing the dynamics of isolated quantum systems: bipartite entanglement entropy and observational entropy.

Entropy dimension of measure preserving systems
The notion of metric entropy dimension is introduced to measure the complexity of entropy zero dynamical systems. For measure preserving systems, we define entropy dimension via the dimension of entropy generating sequences.

The Entropy of the Gravitational Field
We derive a formula for the nonequilibrium entropy of a classical stochastic field in terms of correlation functions of this field. The formalism is then applied to define the entropy of gravitational perturbations (both gravitational waves and density ...

Bowen entropy for actions of amenable groups [PDF]
Bowen introduced a definition of topological entropy of subset inspired by Hausdorff dimension in 1973 \cite{B}. In this paper we consider the Bowen's entropy for amenable group action dynamical systems and show that under the tempered condition, the ...

On defining partition entropy by inequalities [PDF]
Partition entropy is the numerical metric of uncertainty within a partition of a finite set, while conditional entropy measures the degree of difficulty in predicting a decision partition when a condition partition is provided.

Building on a technical result by Brunnemann and Rideout on the spectrum of the Volume operator in Loop Quantum Gravity, we show that the dimension of the space of the quadrivalent, diffeomorphism invariant states with no zero-volume nodes describing a region with total volume smaller than $V$, has \emph{finite} dimension, bounded by $V \log V$.

Strong Subadditivity and Emergent Surface
In this paper, we introduce two bounds which we call the Upper Differential Entropy and the Lower Differential Entropy for an infinite family of intervals(strips) in quantum field theory. The two bounds are equal provided that the theory is translational

Research Progress and Prospect of High-Entropy Alloy Materials
With the rapid development of world’s technological level and the urgent demand of national economic construction for high-performance alloy materials, traditional single-component alloys gradually fail to satisfy the increasing service requirements ...

Free entropy is the analogue of entropy in free probability theory. The paper is a survey of free entropy, its applications to von Neumann algebras and its connections to random matrix theory, as well as a discussion of open problems and of a basic variational problem, connected to random multimatrix models.
