Foliar spraying of CS‐CDs can form a film on the leaves of Brassica rapa, effectively reducing the enrichment and absorption of PS in the leaves, while increasing the biomass and nutrient content of the plants. In addition, CS‐CDs can also enrich the interfoliar microbial community and activate the plant's own defense metabolic pathways.

Pollution, Shadow Economy and Corruption: Theory and Evidence [PDF]
We study how the shadow economy affects pollution and how this effect depends on corruption levels in public administration. Production in the shadow economy allows firms to avoid environmental regulation policies; a large informal sector may be ...

A biohybrid nanorobot integrating lytic bacteriophage N4 with Pd nanozymes is developed for targeted eradication of multidrug‐resistant E. coli biofilms. Synergistic bacterial lysis and ROS‐mediated oxidation enable simultaneous biofilm removal and antibiotic resistance genes degradation, maintaining high efficacy in complex wastewater environments ...

The 3rd‐generation magnetic super‐stable mineralizer M‐MgAl‐700 features a core‐shell structure, strong superparamagnetism, large surface area, and abundant oxygen defects. It achieves exceptional Cd(II) and As(V) mineralization capacities, reducing both pollutants in co‐contaminated water and soil to meet national standards.

Can Cross-Border Pollution Reduce Pollution? [PDF]
We develop a North-South model of foreign aid and cross-border pollution resulting from production activities in the recipient country. There is both private and public abatement of pollution, the latter being financed through emissions tax revenue and ...

Adhesion‐Driven Removal of Microplastics From Aquatic Systems by Using Microgel Glues
Soft polymeric microgels function as “glues” that aggregate diverse microplastics through multivalent adhesion, promoting their interfacial deposition and co‐precipitation for efficient removal from water. Remarkably, this approach remains effective even for nanoscale plastic particles as small as 50 nm.
