A Review of Integrated Pollution Control Efforts in Selected Countries [PDF]
This report describes the reasons why integrated pollution control (IPC) became accepted as a necessary part of the environmental regulatory systems of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Sweden and examines the experience these countries have had ...

Chronic Hypoxia Disrupts Spermatogenesis Through ASXL2–EZH2–Mediated Microtubule Destabilization
This study reveals the mechanism by which chronic hypoxia impairs spermatogenesis via the ASXL2–EZH2 axis, hindering the transition of spermatids from round to elongated forms. Key findings reveal that under hypoxic conditions, downregulated ASXL2 expression reduces EZH2 binding to the CEP162 promoter, leading to decreased H3K27me3 modification and ...

Green and Producer Lobbies: Enemies or Allies?. [PDF]
In this paper we employ a common agency model to study the role of green and producer lobbies in the determination of trade and environmental policies.

We demonstrated that high humidity worsened psoriasis relapse in murine psoriasiform skin inflammation by increasing skin‐resident memory CD8+ cells via upregulating IL‐15Rα on keratinocytes. The increases in IL‐15Rα and memory CD8+ cells were attributed to S. nepalensis and its metabolite ADMA in skin exposed to high humidity.

Trade, technical progress and the environment: the role of a unilateral green tax on consumption [PDF]
The paper proposes a two-country general equilibrium model of endogenous growth and trade between two regions, North and South, with different environmental standards.

Ovarian Matrisome Dynamics and αvβ3‐Mediated Regulation in Early Follicular Development
The matrisome undergoes dynamic remodeling during early follicular development. Integrin αvβ3 mediates matrisome signals, regulating primordial follicle activation/atresia and secondary follicle growth via Hippo/mTOR pathways, with conserved roles in human ovaries, offering therapeutic targets for ovarian disorders.

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

Growth-Trade-Environment Nexus in India [PDF]
This paper evaluates the environmental impacts of economic growth and trade liberalization in India. The empirical strategy in this paper is to estimate the scale, technique and trade-induced composition effects of trade liberalization on pollution.

Paternal Circadian Disruption Impairs Offspring Cognition via Sperm microRNAs
Paternal circadian disruption remodels the sperm small RNA payload, elevating miR‐92a‐3p/miR‐25‐3p levels and perturbing early embryonic gene regulatory programs. Microinjection experiments and single‐embryo transcriptomics reveal sex‐specific developmental vulnerabilities, ultimately impairing offspring hippocampal synaptic plasticity and cognition ...
