Evaluation of mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen 6 by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
Mycobacterium tuberculosis Antigen 6, which is a 30 KDa protein purified by DEAE-Cellulose chromatography, was evaluated by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for its sensitivity and specificity for antibody detection in sera from patients with ...

Frequency‐Dependent Demethylation of Cancer DNAs by High‐Power Terahertz Radiation

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Effective demethylation of cancer DNA is successfully demonstrated by resonant irradiation with high‐power terahertz (THz) waves at the 10 mW level, combined with metamaterial‐based THz filters. The dependence of spectral filtering on demethylation indicates that the resonant frequency of 1.6 THz of cancer DNAs plays a crucial role in reducing the ...

Graphene-based magnetoelastic biosensor for COVID-19 serodiagnosis [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This work presents an innovative magnetoelastic (ME) biosensor using graphene functionalized with the SARS-CoV-2 N protein for antibody detection via magnetoelastic resonance. Graphene was chosen for its biocompatibility and high surface area, enabling efficient antigen adsorption, validated by techniques such as energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy ...

Blood serum analysis: A modified sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay protocol

open access: yesMethodsX, 2022
Blood serum analysis is a versatile tool used in diagnostics, in vivo research, and clinical studies. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a common method used to analyze blood serum cytokine levels; however, commercial kits are costly and not ...

Modulating Signal Generation in Aptamer‐Based CNT‐FET Biosensors by Controlling the Functionalization Route

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
The impact of different assembly strategies is discussed on the performance of nanoscale aptamer‐based SWCNT‐FET biosensors. By combining electrical and optical characterization, this is revealed that how aptamer conformation affects local electrostatic changes within the Debye length, leading to distinct sensor responses.
