Alleviation of Aging‐Related Hallmarks in a Mouse Model of Progeria via a Nanoparticle‐Based Artificial Transcription Factor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oct4‐nanoscript, a biomimetic nanoparticle‐based artificial transcription factor, precisely regulates cellular rejuvenation by activating Oct4 target genes, restoring epigenetic marks, and reducing DNA damage. In a progeria model, it effectively rescued aging‐associated pathologies and extended lifespan.

Enzyme immobilization by adsorption: a review [PDF]

open access: yesAdsorption, 2014
Endowed with unparalleled high catalytic activity and selectivity, enzymes offer enormous potential as catalysts in practical applications. These applications, however, are seriously hampered by enzymes’ low thermal and chemical stabilities. One way to improve these stabilities is the enzyme immobilization.

Rotating Liquid Marble Microreactors for Enhanced Enzymatic Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dynamic magnetic liquid marbles (LMs), stabilized by hydrophobic magnetic proteinaceous colloidosomes, function as effective microreactors for enzymatic processes. Precise magnetic manipulation allows for the rotation of these LMs, enhancing the efficiency of the enzymatic cascade reaction both at the air/water interface and within biphasic enzyme ...
