Molecular study of lipids in humic acids by sequential chemical degradation [PDF]
Lipidy v půdě vykazují poměrně vysokou resistenci k biodegradaci, mohou proto tak zajistit informace o zdrojích organické hmoty a diagenetických procesech. Půdní organická hmota je vysoce heterogenní a vyskytují se v ní různé dynamické systémy.

Could Edible Photonic Structures Be an Alternative to Traditional Food Coloring?
What if color in food came from photonic structures? This perspective introduces structural color as a potential next‐generation solution to replace conventional colorants in foods. It discusses edible photonic materials, their unique benefits, and the technological, safety, and consumer acceptance challenges that must be addressed to bring this ...

Response of Acer saccharum seedlings to elevated O3 and CO2 concentrations [PDF]
The effects of three times ambient [O3] (3x) and high [CO2] (650 µL L-1 CO2) alone and in combination were studied on 2-yr-old sugar maple (Acer saccharum) seedlings for 86 days in open top chambers.

A carbon nanotube‐based biopesticide system (BioCNTs) enables efficient delivery and systemic movement of RNAi molecules to control major tomato viruses. By integrating shRNA and tRNA‐like structures (TLS) with BioCNTs, this green and scalable approach achieves long‐term silencing and high antiviral efficacy through simple foliar spraying.

Factors affecting rind pitting in the mandarin hybrids "fortune" and "nova". The influence of exogenous growth regulators [PDF]
The commercialization of the mandarin hybrids "Fortune" and "Nova" is hindered by the development of cold-induced pitting in the fruit rind which may develop either in the orchard or during storage and transport. In the late cropping cultivar "Fortune",
