Epitypic-Idiotypic Dominance as An Evolutionary Answer to the Intercellular Communication Problem

1988
Immunodominance is a ubiquitous occurrence in the immune system, the extensiveness of which has been insufficiently appreciated. Dominance is expressed at the level of recognition of antigenic and MHC determinants, at the level of competition between cells, and at the level of the organism. A partial listing of specific cases in which dominance plays a

Evalution of electronic dp epitype profiling to determine dp donor-specific antibodies during virtual crossmatch

Human Immunology, 2018
Aim Our aim is to evaluate the utility of incorporating epitype analysis into the computerized virtual crossmatch (vXM) workflow for donors with DP alleles that are not covered by a recipient’s HLA antibody screening and identification assay. Our lab has used vXM to select deceased donors for transplantations for more than ten years.

Quantitative region-specific DNA methylation analysis by the EpiTYPER™ technology.

2018
DNA methylation plays a profound role in development and health as well as development and progression of disease. High-throughput quantitative DNA methylation analysis is therefore crucial for the study of the normal physiology of the epigenome and its dysregulation in disease.
