We aimed to uncover the molecular mechanisms linking age‐related pain susceptibility with cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD). By integrating transcriptomic, human AD brain, genomic, and Mendelian randomization analyses, we identified the lipid‐modifying enzyme LPCAT2 as a sex‐ and APOE genotype–dependent causal mediator of both heightened ...

Genotype‐by‐sex interaction analyses for alcohol use disorder across biobanks
Alcohol use disorder (AUD) differs by sex in prevalence and clinical features, yet genetic studies on these differences are limited. Using genome‐wide genotype‐by‐sex interaction analyses in over 1 million participants from the Million Veteran Program and UK Biobank, we identified four significant loci with sex‐specific effects on AUD risk.

ABSTRACT Sjögren's Syndrome (SS) and Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) are autoimmune disorders that can co‐occur in patients, leading to complex clinical presentations. Despite observational evidence of their co‐occurrence, the underlying genetic mechanisms remain poorly understood.
