Money in Search Equilibrium, in Competitive Equilibrium, and in Competitive Search Equilibrium [PDF]
We compare three market structures for monetary economies: bargaining (search equilibrium); price taking (competitive equilibrium); and price posting (competitive search equilibrium). We also extend work on the microfoundations of money by allowing a general matching technology and entry.

Wearable Noninvasive Glucose Sensor Based on CuxO NFs/Cu NPs Nanocomposites
Designing highly active material to fabricate a high-performance noninvasive wearable glucose sensor was of great importance for diabetes monitoring. In this work, we developed CuxO nanoflakes (NFs)/Cu nanoparticles (NPs) nanocomposites to serve as the ...

On luxury and Equilibrium [PDF]
Building on a class of transcendental preferences for luxury, explicit solutions for price taking behavior and exchange equilibrium are discussed, which share the analytical tractability of Cobb-Douglas models. Such economies display fundamental positive properties, among which uniqueness and price tâtonnement stability of equilibrium.

The Indian Ocean - The Challenges beyond the Plastic Pollution
El calentamiento del Océano Índico resulta ser el mayor contribuyente en línea con la tendencia general de la temperatura media mundial de la superficie del mar, al tiempo que evidencia signos de sobrepesca, que parecen estar aumentando.

Hydrogenated borophene enabled synthesis of multielement intermetallic catalysts
Supported metal catalysts often suffer from rapid degradation under harsh conditions due to material failure and weak metal-support interaction. Here we propose using reductive hydrogenated borophene to in-situ synthesize Pt/B/C catalysts with small ...

Experimenting in Equilibrium [PDF]
Classical approaches to experimental design assume that intervening on one unit does not affect other units. There are many important settings, however, where this noninterference assumption does not hold, as when running experiments on supply-side incentives on a ride-sharing platform or subsidies in an energy marketplace. In this paper, we introduce

Controlled Growth Cu2S Nanoarrays with High-Performance Photothermal Properties
The controlled growth of Cu2S nanoarrays was constructed by a facile two-step impregnation synthesis route. The as-synthesized Cu2S/CuO@Cu samples were precisely characterized in terms of surface morphology, phase, composition, and oxidation states.

Equilibrium Cycle: A “Dynamic” Equilibrium
In this paper, we introduce a novel equilibrium concept, called the equilibrium cycle, which seeks to capture the outcome of oscillatory game dynamics. Unlike the (pure) Nash equilibrium, which defines a fixed point of mutual best responses, an equilibrium cycle is a set-valued solution concept that can be demonstrated even in games where best ...
