Injectable Dual‐Network Hydrogel System for Osteochondral Repair Combining Immunomodulation, Mechanical Adaptability, and Enhanced Tissue Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A UV‐triggered injectable dual‐network hydrogel is reported as the first application of bletilla striata polysaccharide (BSP) in osteochondral repair. By integrating methacrylamide‐modified BSP and nitrobenzaldehyde‐functionalized hyaluronic acid, the system achieves immunomodulation, mechanical reinforcement, and dynamic tissue adhesion, thereby ...

EAR CORN EQUILIBRIUM MOISTURE CONTENT: OBTENTION AND MODELING

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Milho e Sorgo, 2005
The objectives of this work were to determine the Equilibrium Moisture Content of the ear corn for different temperature and relative humidity and to adjust different mathematical models for the experimental data. The procedure for obtaining the Equilibrium Moisture Content of ear corn, in a static method, used different saturated salt solutions in the

Trap‐Assisted Transport and Neuromorphic Plasticity in Lead‐Free 2D Perovskites PEA2SnI4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An artificial retina built from lead‐free layered perovskite (PEA)2SnI4 converts light input into a persistent photocurrent and sums successive flashes over time. Micro/nanocrystals integrated on electrodes act as synapse‐like pixels that perform temporal integration directly in hardware. This in‐sensor preprocessing merges detection and computation on

Bio‐Inspired Molecular Events in Poly(Ionic Liquids)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Originating from dipolar and polar inter‐ and intra‐chain interactions of the building blocks, the topologies and morphologies of poly(ionic liquids) (PIL) govern their nano‐ and micro‐processibility. Modulating the interactions of cation‐anion pairs with aliphatic dipolar components enables the tunability of properties, facilitated by “bottom‐up ...

Equilibrium Moisture Content and Thermodynamic Properties of Garri

open access: yesJournal of Food and Nutrition Sciences
Gari, a widely consumed cassava product in West Africa, plays a vital role in the dietary needs of millions of people. Moisture content is a critical factor affecting its quality, texture, shelf life, and susceptibility to microbial contamination. This study investigates the equilibrium moisture content (EMC) of gari at varying temperatures (40°C, 45°C,

Rolling and Impacting Caustic Drops on Super Liquid‐Repellent Surfaces: In Situ Force and Energy Monitoring of Surface Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The use of continuous drop‐based force and energy probing methods is introduced to evaluate in situ chemical degradation of super liquid‐repellent surfaces by caustic liquids. By tracking the velocity of rolling drops and energy dissipation of impacting drops, degradation dynamics are resolved under high spatio‐temporal precision. Using this technique,

A method to estimate wood surface moisture content during drying

open access: yesMaderas: Ciencia y Tecnología, 2017
A method to estimate the surface moisture content below the fibre saturation point that is a function of the surface temperature, wet- and dry bulb temperatures, equilibrium moisture content, and fibre saturation point was evaluated.
