Use of thoracic computed tomography in the diagnosis of a pulmonary myxoma in a horse
Equine Veterinary Education, EarlyView.Summary This case describes the first reported antemortem computed tomographic (CT) examination of the thorax in an adult horse. A 13‐year‐old Australian Stock Horse gelding presented for a severe cough, epistaxis and haemoptysis after a 1‐year history of suspected equine asthma.

Equine Veterinary Education, EarlyView.Summary A 21‐year‐old gelding, with a history of equine recurrent uveitis, was presented for a chronic nonhealing corneal ulcer. Ophthalmic examination of the right eye revealed a deep corneal ulcer, with the presence of corneal neovascularisation, mild diffuse corneal oedema and hypopyon. Additionally, the gelding was blind from the affected eye.

Drug Testing and Analysis, Volume 18, Issue 11, Page 1456-1469, November 2026.Betamethasone concentrations in 20 horses from Japan and Germany following IV, IM, and INJ administration of betamethasone phosphate were analyzed using population pharmacokinetic modeling. For IV administration of 0.04 mg/kg q24 h, IPC and IUC were 0.012 and 0.31 ng/mL, respectively; the IUC approximated the IFHA urine ISL (0.20 ng/mL).
