Electron Microscopy of Equine Infectious Anemia Virus [PDF]
Equine infectious anemia (EIA) virus was observed in thin sections of infected cultured horse leukocytes by electron microscopy. The virus particles had a spherical shape and were between 80 and 120 nm in diameter. Most of them contained an electron-dense nucleoid 40 to 60 nm in diameter.

In this study, a significant increase in serum NSE, GFAP, CK‐B, IgM and IgM concentrations was determined in dogs with nervous distemper. It was shown that NSE, GFAP and CK‐B biomarkers have a useful and reliable diagnostic value in determining brain damage in dogs with nervous distemper .

Omeprazole as a Novel Treatment Option for Giardiasis in Cats
In this study, cats with giardiasis were allocated to omeprazole, metronidazole, secnidazole or placebo groups and monitored from day 0 to 14. Omeprazole achieved a reduction in Giardia cyst shedding comparable to metronidazole and also demonstrated faster clinical improvement, indicating a potential therapeutic advantage.
