Molecular analysis of drug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolates by ERIC-PCR

Meta Gene, 2018
Abstract Acinetobacter baumannii is an important pathogen that associated with several hospital-acquired infections. It has the ability to colonize in hospital setting and infections due to A. baumannii can be transferred by direct or indirect contact between patients.

Variability of Bacillus thuringiensis Strains by ERIC-PCR and Biofilm Formation

Current Microbiology, 2014
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a soil-dwelling bacterium of great interest for agronomical research because of its use as biological pesticide. There are some limitations regarding the subspecies classification. Phenotyping and genotyping studies are important to ascertain its variability.

Analysis of ERIC-PCR genomic polymorphism of Salmonella isolates from chicken slaughter line

European Food Research and Technology, 2014
The chicken slaughter line is a source of cross-contamination of Salmonella. In this study, ERIC-PCR was applied to analyse the ERIC-PCR genomic polymorphism of Salmonella isolates from a commercial chicken slaughter line and to trace the route of contamination.

Molecular characterization of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis isolates using ERIC-PCR

Veterinary Microbiology, 2011
Caseous lymphadenitis is an infectious sheep and goats disease caused by Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis and characterized by abscesses in superficial and visceral lymph nodes. C. pseudotuberculosis strains isolated from these hosts have been shown to be very difficult to type by the existing methods.

Strain differentiation of Indian isolates of Salmonella by eric-pcr

Research in Veterinary Science, 2002
Enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC) sequences are the repetitive elements present in the family enterobacteriacae. In the present study, ERIC-PCR (target ERIC sequence) was used for the molecular typing of 24 isolates of Salmonella serovars, namely abortusequi, choleraesuis, bareilly and dublin.
