Spectrophotometric determination of rare earth elements with Eriochrome Black T

希土類元素はエリオクロームブラックTと反応して錯体を生成し, pH8~10(塩化アンモニウム-水酸化アンモニウム緩衝溶液)において安定した吸光度を示し,その吸収極大波長510mμで定量できることがわかった.また640mμにおいて間接法による定量が可能であり,感度はこのほうがすぐれている.錯体の組成は1:1であり, pH9における640mμおよび510mμの各波長の場合のモル吸光係数が5元素について求められた.感度はピロカテコールバイオレットによる場合に比べて,510mμで同程度,640mμでかなりすぐれている。多くの重金属元素はシアン化カリウムによっていんぺいできる.マグネシウム,アルミニウム,アルカリ土類金属,イットリウム,インジウム,鉛,トリウムなどは妨害する.
