Model-Parameter-Free Prescribed Time Trajectory Tracking Control for Under-Actuated Unmanned Surface Vehicles with Saturation Constraints and External Disturbances

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2023
This paper mainly addresses the model-parameter-free prescribed time trajectory tracking control issue for under-actuated unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) that are susceptible to model uncertainties, time-varying disturbances, and saturation constraints.

Scratch Morphology Transformation: An Alternative Method of Scratch Processing on Optical Surface

open access: yesMicromachines, 2021
The scratches on an optical surface can worsen the performance of elements. The normal process method is removing scratches entirely. However, it is a tough and high-cost requirement of removing extremely deep scratches and maintaining all the other ...

Fast shadow execution for debugging numerical errors using error free transformations

open access: yesProceedings of the ACM on Programming Languages, 2022
This paper proposes, EFTSanitizer, a fast shadow execution framework for detecting and debugging numerical errors during late stages of testing especially for long-running applications. Any shadow execution framework needs an oracle to compare against the floating point (FP) execution. This paper makes a case for using error free transformations, which

Determination method of maximum subsidence value for surface based on remaining free space height of overburden

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2021
In view of the problem that it is difficult to accurately determine the maximum subsidence value of the surface of the fully mechanized caving face, according to the characteristics of movement, deformation and damage of overburden in goaf and the law of

Reconstruction of the interplanetary magnetic field from the magnetosheath data: A steady-state approach

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
In the steady-state picture, the magnetic field can be formulated by a curl-free potential field in the magnetosheath region, and the sheath field is uniquely and linearly determined by the upstream field and the transformation matrix which contains the ...

MSH2/MSH6 complex promotes error-free repair of AID-induced dU:G mispairs as well as error-prone hypermutation of A:T sites. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2010
Mismatch repair of AID-generated dU:G mispairs is critical for class switch recombination (CSR) and somatic hypermutation (SHM) in B cells. The generation of a previously unavailable Msh2(-/-)Msh6(-/-) mouse has for the first time allowed us to examine ...

Error‐free transformation of matrix multiplication with a posteriori validation

open access: yesNumerical Linear Algebra with Applications, 2016
SummaryIn this study, we examine the accurate matrix multiplication in floating‐point arithmetic. We demonstrate the error‐free transformations of matrix multiplication using high performance basic linear algebra subprograms. These transformations can be applied to accurately compute the product of two matrices using floating‐point entries.

Facilitating time series classification by linear law-based feature space transformation

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
The aim of this paper is to perform uni- and multivariate time series classification tasks with linear law-based feature space transformation (LLT). First, LLT is used to separate the training and test sets of instances. Then, it identifies the governing
