Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1429-1452, June 2026.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Disturbance-Observer-Based Adaptive Prescribed Performance Formation Tracking Control for Multiple Underactuated Surface Vehicles

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
This study proposes a new disturbance-observer-based adaptive distributed formation control scheme for multiple underactuated surface vehicles (USVs) subject to unknown synthesized disturbances under prescribed performance constraints. A modified sliding

Novel Calibration Algorithm for a Three-Axis Strapdown Magnetometer

open access: yesSensors, 2014
A complete error calibration model with 12 independent parameters is established by analyzing the three-axis magnetometer error mechanism. The said model conforms to an ellipsoid restriction, the parameters of the ellipsoid equation are estimated, and ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1626-1642, June 2026.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1513-1534, June 2026.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

20 GHz transform-limited optical pulse generation and bit-error-free operation using a tunable, actively modelocked Er-doped fibre ring laser

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1993
The authors report the generation of 20 GHz, 3.0-3.5 ps transform-limited optical pulses across the wavelength tunable range 1550-1557 nm using a wavelength tunable, polarisation-maintaining actively modelocked Er/sup 3+/-doped fibre ring laser. Stable bit-error-free modelocking operation is confirmed throughout the wavelength tuning range.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Robust Fault Estimation for a Class of T-S Fuzzy Singular Systems with Time-Varying Delay via Improved Delay Partitioning Approach

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2016
The problem of delay-dependent robust fault estimation for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy singular systems is investigated. By decomposing the delay interval into two unequal subintervals and with a new and tighter integral inequality ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1494-1512, June 2026.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
