Near-Capacity Turbo Trellis Coded Modulation Design
Bandwidth efficient parallel-concatenated Turbo Trellis Coded Modulation (TTCM) schemes were designed for communicating over uncorrelated Rayleigh fading channels.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

δ-perturbation of bilevel optimization problems: An error bound analysis
In this paper, we analyze a perturbed formulation of bilevel optimization problems, which we refer to as δ-perturbed formulation. The δ-perturbed formulation allows to handle the lower level optimization problem efficiently when there are multiple lower ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

We revisit the global error bound for the generalized nonlinear complementarity problem over a polyhedral cone (GNCP). By establishing a new equivalent formulation of the GNCP, we establish a sharper global error bound for the GNCP under weaker ...

A model-free no-arbitrage price bound for variance options [PDF]
In the framework of Galichon, Henry-Labordère and Touzi, we consider the model-free no-arbitrage bound of variance option given the marginal distributions of the underlying asset.

The Bayesian ABEL Bound on the Mean Square Error
International audienceThis paper deals with lower bound on the Mean Square Error (MSE). In the Bayesian framework, we present a new bound which is derived from a constrained optimization problem.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.
