Reduced-rank adaptive least bit-error-rate detection in hybrid direct-sequence time-hopping ultrawide bandwidth systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Design of high-efficiency low-complexity detection schemes for ultrawide bandwidth (UWB) systems is highly challenging. This contribution proposes a reduced-rank adaptive multiuser detection (MUD) scheme operated in least bit-errorrate (LBER) principles ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Solution of low-voltage loss model based on AMI data and remote error detection for smart electricity meter measurement

open access: yesDiance yu yibiao
In response to the inaccuracy model of low-voltage power grid, a solution method based on AMI(advanced metering infrastructure) data and metering point errors of electricity meters is proposed. This method analyzes the energy conservation equation set of

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

High‐speed serializer timing‐error detection circuit with enhanced verification reliability through floating state prevention

open access: yesElectronics Letters
This article presents a serializer (SER) timing‐error detection circuit that enhances the verification reliability of high‐speed wireline interfaces. A timing mismatch in the SER leads to bit errors during data transmission.

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.
