Position Estimation of Vehicle Based on Magnetic Marker: Time-Division Position Correction
During the automatic driving of a vehicle, the vehicle’s positional information is important for vehicle driving control. If fixed-point land markers such as magnetic markers are used, the vehicle’s current position error can be calculated only when a ...

Error structures and parameter estimation [PDF]
This article proposes a link between statistics and the theory of Dirichlet forms used to compute errors. The error calculus based on Dirichlet forms is an extension of classical Gauss' approach to error propagation.

Errors on errors – Estimating cosmological parameter covariance [PDF]
AbstractCurrent and forthcoming cosmological data analyses share the challenge of huge datasets alongside increasingly tight requirements on the precision and accuracy of extracted cosmological parameters. The community is becoming increasingly aware that these requirements not only apply to the central values of parameters but, equally important, also

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Digital spectral correlation method for measuring radio signal reception delay and direction finding
A promising direction for the development of radio monitoring tools is the use of passive and semi-active radar stations to assess the air situation using the difference-rangefinder method. A digital high-speed spectral correlation method for determining

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Recursive Compressed Sensing [PDF]
We introduce a recursive algorithm for performing compressed sensing on streaming data. The approach consists of a) recursive encoding, where we sample the input stream via overlapping windowing and make use of the previous measurement in obtaining the ...
