Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Range-Velocity Measurement Accuracy Improvement Based on Joint Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Multi-Input Multi-Output Radar

open access: yesRemote Sensing
For time division multiplexing multiple input multiple output (TDM MIMO) millimeter wave radar, the measurement of target range, velocity and other parameters depends on the phase of the received Intermediate Frequency (IF) signal.

Multiple Fingerprints-Based Indoor Localization via GBDT: Subspace and RSSI

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The demand for accurate indoor localization has become more and more urgent in location-based services (LBS). Since the traditional indoor localization is based on a single fingerprint, which is susceptible to environmental changes, it is hard to obtain ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

A Maximum-likelihood based mutual coupling calibration algorithm in the presence of multipath for GPS antenna array [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In GPS area, several GPS antenna array calibration techniques have been proposed to calibrate errors like gain/phase error in each channel, mutual coupling effect between antennas and array orientation error in array.

CLEAN technique in strip-map SAR for high-quality imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The maximum obtainable resolution of a strip-map synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system can be retained by simply avoiding weighting, or tapering, data samples in the along-track compression process.

Measurement of the moving objects’ bearing by coherent integration of the spectral components of signals in the passive sonar

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
The method of measuring bearing (azimuth) of a moving surface (underwater) object in the passive sonar is described. This method is considered to be a modification of signals phase comparing method.
