ERYTHROBLASTIC ANEMIA

In 1925, Cooley and Lee 1 described five cases of anemia in children having unusual roentgenographic changes in the bones. Since this original description and a later report by the same authors, 2 much interest has been directed toward this condition. As other cases have been reported, difficulty has arisen in classifying this type of anemia.

ERYTHROBLASTIC HYPOPLASIA.

Three patients with erythroblastic hypoplasia were observed for prolonged periods. In one patient, the phenomenon recurred on three occasions over a 12-year period. In the second, erythroblastic hypoplasia accompanied acute hemolytic anemia of the autoimmune type.
