Prognostic Value of Perioperative Anemia in Neurosurgical‐Oncological Treatment of Spinal Metastases
High perioperative morbidity in patients undergoing surgery for spinal metastases highlights the need to identify modifiable risk factors, particularly the underexplored role of anemia. This study assessed associations between perioperative hemoglobin levels and complications, recurrence, and mortality in patients treated surgically for spinal ...

Erythrocytosis due to PHD2 Mutations: A Review of Clinical Presentation, Diagnosis, and Genetics
The association of mutations in the PHD2 protein of the hypoxia-sensing pathway and erythrocytosis has only been established in the last decade. Here we report the case of a novel PHD2 gene mutation in a patient with erythrocytosis and summarize all ...

This study established reference intervals for APTT, PT, TT, and FIB in a Tibetan high‐altitude population using two indirect algorithms, Hoffmann and refineR. The established RIs differed significantly from those of low‐altitude regions, highlighting the need for region‐specific RIs to ensure accurate evaluation of coagulation disorders.
