ABSTRACT Piscirickettsia salmonis, the causal agent of salmonid rickettsial septicemia (SRS), is the main pathogen affecting farmed salmonids in Chile. Outbreaks of SRS lead to substantial economic losses for producers. Many determinants related to SRS outcomes are still poorly understood.

Turning Mediterranean Farmlands Into Priority Habitats: Natural Expansion of Juniper Woodlands After Agricultural Abandonment

Cu and SnO2‐Modified Carbon Felt for Electroenzymatic CO2 Upcycling

Bioelectrode platform for sustainable CO2‐to‐formate conversion, combining electrochemical cofactor regeneration with enzyme immobilization. Cu‐modified electrodes enhanced NADH recycling compared to SnO2, while coupling with affinity‐immobilized formate dehydrogenase improved enzymatic turnover and stability while maintaining faradaic efficiency.

Abstract Turbulent winds are a regular occurrence in planetary boundary layers. Turbulence affects mixing, energy fluxes and forcing on the surface environment. Energy injected into an atmosphere generates eddies of many scales down to a size where molecular viscous forces dominate, termed the Kolmogorov length scale.
