Re‐investigating the psychometric properties of the Caregiver–Provider Relationship Assessment

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia: Behavior &Socioeconomics of Aging, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION This study examined the psychometrics of the Caregiver–Provider Relationship Assessment (CPRA) by evaluating whether the negatively worded items impact the fit of the proposed measurement model. METHODS A sample of family caregivers to persons with dementia (N = 228) completed online surveys about caregiving experiences that ...

Formation and Characterization of Insoluble Anthocyanins‐λ‐carrageenan Biopolyelectrolyte Complexes: Structural Morphology, Thermal Stability, and Release Dynamics

open access: yesChemFoodChem, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2026.
Insoluble biopolyelectrolyte complexes formed between blackberry anthocyanins and λ‐carrageenan are investigated. Optimal complexation occurs at low carrageenan ratios and acidic pH, producing porous hydrogel‐like structures with enhanced thermal stability.

ESEM study of tensile behaviour of spunbonded bicomponent fibre nonwovens

open access: yes, 2005
The tensile behaviour of polyethylene/polypropylene (PE/PP) bicompomnent fibre spunbonded nonwovens has been studied using an environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM). A tensile stage, mounted in the ESEM, was used to examine the dynamic process

Toward Moisture Improvement of Eu2+‐Doped UCr4C4 Phosphor: A Facile Uniform Coating Strategy and Mechanism

open access: yesInformation &Functional Materials, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 59-65, June 2026.
This study develops a facile multi‐step coating protocol to enhance the humidity stability of the Eu2+‐doped UCr4C4 green phosphor RbLi(Li3SiO4)2: Eu2+ (RLSO: Eu2+), successfully overcoming the typical trade‐off between luminescence intensity and stability.

Corrosion Damage in Retrieved CoCrMo/Ti‐6Al‐4V Modular Junctions in Femoral Revision Total Knee Components

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials, Volume 114, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Modularity in revision total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is prevalent; however, corrosion mechanisms at modular junctions in these devices are not well investigated compared to total hip arthroplasty (THA). This retrieval study analyzed corrosion damage on modular junctions of cobalt chromium molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy femoral components with a ...

Semi‐Automated Platform for Early Prenatal Coelocentesis Testing Using Electrospun Nanofiber Technology

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 6, June 2026.
A semi‐automated approach for early prenatal diagnosis is developed for low‐cellularity samples from coelocentesis by exploiting biotin/streptavidin interaction to functionalize electrospun mats with antibodies. With potential microfluidic integration, the resulting platform enables fetal cell capture, offering a strategy toward improved efficiency and
