Conjugate ESPRIT algorithm for bistatic MIMO radar

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2010
A novel conjugate ESPRIT (C-ESPRIT) algorithm is proposed to estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) and direction of departure (DOD) for bistatic MIMO radar. It employs the properties of noncircular signals to construct a new virtual array first, the virtual antenna number of which is twice that of the MIMO virtual array.

Standardized Elemental Composition Analysis of Graphene‐Related 2D Materials (GR2M) With SEM/EDS and XPS Works Reliably

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The elemental composition of a series of laboratory graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide materials and a commercial graphene oxide material of high quality is analyzed with the standardless SEM/EDS quantification. XPS is used as a reference method.

Two-dimensional Fast ESPRIT Algorithm for Linear Array SAR Imaging

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2015
The linear array Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system is a popular research tool, because it can realize three-dimensional imaging. However, owning to limitations of the aircraft platform and actual conditions, resolution improvement is difficult in ...

Multi-Step Knowledge-Aided Iterative ESPRIT for Direction Finding

open access: yes, 2018
In this work, we propose a subspace-based algorithm for DOA estimation which iteratively reduces the disturbance factors of the estimated data covariance matrix and incorporates prior knowledge which is gradually obtained on line.

Two-dimensional virtual ESPRIT algorithm

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2001
A novel two-dimensional ESPRIT algorithm-two-dimensional virtual ESPRIT algorithm-based on a special sensor array geometry is proposed. The new algorithm achieves very accurate estimates at very low computational cost since the estimation accuracy can be improved by adjusting the array aperture.

Integration of Micro‐CT and XRF Mapping for Multimodal 3D Analysis of Polychrome Wooden Artifacts

open access: yesX-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Over the past 5 years, computer applications have become crucial to archeological research. Since the 1990s, the focus has transitioned from data management tools to the development of virtual models. Recently, digital documentation of cultural heritage has gained considerable focus, with 3D modeling of objects.

Reconstructed Target Range Profile via Unitary ESPRIT Superresolution Algorithm

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2017
We propose an efficient technique for target classification using one-dimensional high resolution range profile (HRRP). The proposed technique utilizes the unitary estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm to

A reduced-complexity and asymptotically efficient time-delay estimator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
This paper considers the problem of estimating the time delays of multiple replicas of a known signal received by an array of antennas. Under the assumptions that the noise and co-channel interference (CCI) are spatially colored Gaussian processes and ...

How Does Heterogeneity Control Strain Localization Patterns in High‐Porosity Rocks?

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract We aim to explore how heterogeneous porosity and grain size contribute to strain localization patterns in highly porous rocks based on phase‐field simulations. The strain localization patterns, including shear bands, dilatation bands, and compaction bands, are commonly observed in geological field studies and laboratory experiments.

Direction of Arrival Estimation Accuracy Enhancement via Using Displacement Invariance Technique

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
A new algorithm for improving Direction of Arrival Estimation (DOAE) accuracy has been carried out. Two contributions are introduced. First, Doppler frequency shift that resulted from the target movement is estimated using the displacement invariance ...
