Time Delay Estimation from Low Rate Samples: A Union of Subspaces Approach
Time delay estimation arises in many applications in which a multipath medium has to be identified from pulses transmitted through the channel. Various approaches have been proposed in the literature to identify time delays introduced by multipath ...

Anesthesia can alter measurements during digestive endoscopies, yet no standardized protocol currently exists. Two expert groups—the French Neuro‐Gastroenterology Group (GFNG) and anesthesiologists—used the Delphi method to reach a consensus on which drugs have an influence (91 amendments), ultimately resulting in a proposed anesthesia protocol (28 ...

This study presents sulfate‐directed silver dendrites (s‐AgDs) as oxidation‐resistant SERS substrates with long‐term stability, reproducibility, and sub‐picomolar sensitivity. Sulfate ions guide anisotropic growth and protect the surface, enabling improved performance over 7 months under ambient conditions.

Shaped extensions of singular spectrum analysis [PDF]
Extensions of singular spectrum analysis (SSA) for processing of non-rectangular images and time series with gaps are considered. A circular version is suggested, which allows application of the method to the data given on a circle or on a cylinder, e.g.

Source localization for underwater acoustics using esprit algorithm
Abstract In order to perform the underwater source localization, vector sensors play a major role. If vector sensors are used as an array, the gain can be improved and the accuracy can also be improved. In furtherance of finding the direction of arrival (DOA) of the sound signal which is nothing but the source localization, there are ...

CLEC18A is a previously poorly characterized C‐type lectin. We mapped the expression of CLEC18A to the proximal tubule of the kidney and found CLEC18A to interact with sulfated glycosaminoglycans on proteoglycans. Furthermore, we found that CLEC18A plays an important role in hindering the progression of clear cell renal cell carcinomas in humans and in

Direction-of-Arrival Estimation with Coarray ESPRIT for Coprime Array
A coprime array is capable of achieving more degrees-of-freedom for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation than a uniform linear array when utilizing the same number of sensors.
