A Combined ESPRIT-MUSIC Method for FDA-MIMO Radar with Extended Range Ambiguity Using Staggered Frequency Increment

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2019
For the problem of joint angle and range estimation with frequency diverse array (FDA), MIMO radar, staggered frequency increment is proposed to expand the range ambiguity and the joint algorithm of ESPRIT and MUSIC is proposed to reduce the ...

FDA‐MIMO Range and Angle Estimation Based on Hybrid Tensor Ring and CP Decomposition

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The graphical abstract illustrates the RMSE performance of range and angle estimation versus SNR for different array configurations. The proposed method consistently achieves lower estimation error than existing approaches and closely matches the Cramér‐Rao bound across the entire SNR range, demonstrating its superior accuracy.

A Space‐Time‐Frequency Adaptive Processing Method for Dual‐Band Airborne Radar in Complex Electromagnetic Environments

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
In this paper, we first establish the dual‐band airborne radar wideband echo signal model and propose a space‐time‐frequency adaptive processing method based on it. Firstly, in the passive mode, the poles of the dual band are estimated by the matrix pencil method, and the incoherent components are estimated through the phase relationship between the ...

Blind Direction-of-Arrival Estimation with Uniform Circular Array in Presence of Mutual Coupling

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2016
A blind direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm based on the estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) is proposed for a uniform circular array (UCA) when strong electromagnetic mutual coupling is present ...

Joint DOD and DOA Estimation in Bistatic MIMO Radar With Distributed Nested Arrays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we investigate the problem of joint direction of departure (DOD) and the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation in bistatic MIMO radar. A new bistatic MIMO radar with the distributed nested array is proposed. Based on the new array, the DOD

Monitoring Bridge Vibrations via Spaceborne SAR Micro‐Doppler

open access: yesStructural Control and Health Monitoring, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The advent of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging has presented the possibility of remote monitoring of civil infrastructure on a large scale. Although well established for observing slow and long‐term phenomena, its application to vibration‐based structural health monitoring (SHM) remains relatively unexplored in the current literature.

Trigonal Bipyramidal Clusters [Tl5]7−: Synthesis and Characterization of the Zintl Phase K7−xAxTl5 (A = Rb, Cs; 0 < x ≤ 2.35)

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 70, December 12, 2025.
Mixed alkali metals, potassium and additional rubidium or cesium, allow for the synthesis of a straightforward, electron‐precise Zintl phase K7−xAxTl5. The new phase is characterized by SCXRD, PXRD, and DFT. Its metastability is proven by DSC measurements.
