We consider a model operator H associated to a system of three particles interacting via nonlocal pair potentials on a three dimensional lattice. The existence conditions of the eigenvalues of a corresponding Friedrichs model are found and the structure ...

Study on biofilm formation by Extended Spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) producing Klebsiella isolates
Infections caused by multidrug-resistant Klebsiella species that produce Extended-Spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) enzymes have been reported with increasing frequency in intensive-care units and are associated with significant morbidity and mortality ...

Faddeev equation and its symmetric version for a three-particle lattice hamiltonian [PDF]
In the present paper we consider the three-particle lattice Hamiltonian associated to a system of three particles on the d-dimensional lattice, where the role of two-particle discrete Schroedinger operators is played by a family of Friedrichs models.

The essential spectrum of the Laplacian
In this article we prove a generalization of Weyl's criterion for the essential spectrum of a self-adjoint operator on a Hilbert space. We then apply this criterion to the Laplacian on functions over open manifolds and get new results for its essential spectrum.

Ascent and Essential Ascent Spectrum of Linear Relations
In the present paper, we study the ascent of a linear relation everywhere defined on a Banach space X and the related essential ascent spectrum. Some properties and characterization of such spectra are given.

The radius of the essential spectrum
An operator measure s is introduced axiomatically as a map from L(X) (bounded linear operators on the Banach space X into the nonnegative real numbers) which vanishes on all finite rank operators and only on compact operators, is dominated by the norm function and is subadditive and submultiplicative.

The Essential Spectrum of a Sequence of Linear Operators in Banach Spaces
In this work we introduce some essential spectra $(\sigma_{ei}, i=1,...,5)$ of a sequence of closed linear operators $(T_{n})_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ on Banach space, we prove that if $(T_{n})_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ converges in the generalized sense to a closed ...

Stability of essential approximate point spectrum and essential defect spectrum of linear operator
In the present paper, we use the notion of measure of noncompactness to give some results on Fredholm operators and we establish a fine description of the essential approximate point spectrum and the essential defect spectrum of a closed densely defined linear operator.

Essentially hyponormal operators with essential spectrum contained in a circle
In this paper two results are given . It is proved that if the essential spectrum σ(π(T)) of the bounded hyponormal operator T is contained in a circle, then T is essentially normal operator. Based on this result it is proved that if T∈ L(H) with ind T =
