Comparison of methods for estrous synchronization in sheep
The Japanese journal of animal reproduction, 1979 従来,めん羊の発情同期化法としては主にprogesto-gensが使用されてきたが,処置後の低受胎が問題となり,近年prostaglandin F2α(PGF2α)またはその類縁物質が使用されるようになってきた。しかし,牛で性周期の5日目以前,めん羊では性周期の3日目以前にPGF2αを処置しても発情•排卵は誘起されないと言われており1~3),PGF2α使用の一つの欠点となっている。この点を克服するためにある一定の間隔をおいたPGF2αの2回注射が試みられている5,8)。また,LAUDERDALE4)が示唆したように牛において,progestogenの短期間処置後にPGF2αを投与され良好な成績が報告されているが10),めん羊においてはまだこの報告は見当たらない ...
