Ovarian remnant syndrome in a rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus): Diagnosis and medical management
Abstract Ovarian remnant syndrome results from the persistence of functional ovarian tissue after incomplete ovariectomy. While documented in dogs, cats and ferrets, it has not been previously reported in rabbits. This case describes a 1‐year‐old, spayed, female lop rabbit with persistent sexual behaviour. Physical exam and bloodwork were unremarkable.

Mitochondria Dictate Progressive Versus Bimodal Aging of the Mammary Gland
Breast cancer shows a bimodal age distribution with a peak at 45 and higher peak at 65. Using mice with different mitochondrial genomes, we show progressive and bimodal patterns of aging of the mammary gland with distinct pro‐tumorigenic age windows. This finding may shed light on the bimodal distribution in humans.

Abstract Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, with females exhibiting relative biological protection against CVD compared to males through hormonal and nonhormonal mechanisms—a protection that diminishes with age. While previous research has identified early risk factors in CVD pathogenesis, the physiological

Abstract Resistance training (RT) is widely prescribed for health, yet its effects on energy compensation and appetite regulation remain poorly defined, particularly across sexes. This study examined the effects of chronic RT on energy intake and appetite‐regulating hormones in rats.
