Wearable‐based phenotyping of activity patterns during pregnancy

open access: yesPregnancy, Volume 2, Issue 4, July 2026.
Abstract Objective Wearable activity trackers provide scalable, objective measures of behavior, but their potential use for early detection of high‐risk conditions during pregnancy remains to be evaluated. Study design Using longitudinal Fitbit data from 336 participants in the Deep Phenotyping of Pregnancy Project (DP3), we evaluated both conventional

Validation of a Pregnancy‐Associated Glycoprotein–Based Lateral Flow Assay for Early Pregnancy Detection in Goats

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
The commercial AOFPT developed to detect PAG molecules in bovine serum, was observed to be a rapid, practical, and effective method for early pregnancy diagnosis for to improve reproductive performance and herd management strategies in goats, especially following the post‐mating 28th day .

Comparative Effects of Laparotomy and Laparoscopy‐Assisted Embryo Transfer on Oxidative Stress and Thiol–Disulphide Homeostasis in Tuj Ewes

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
Laparoscopic embryo transfer in Tuj ewes induces less oxidative stress and better preserves thiol–disulphide homeostasis than laparotomy. These findings indicate that minimally invasive approaches better maintain redox balance and antioxidant defence during embryo transfer procedures.

Natural vs synchronized estrus: determinants of successful pregnancy in ewes using frozen-thawed Suffolk semen

open access: yesJournal of Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology, 2020
The pregnancy rate in indigenous ewes inseminated with frozen-thawed Suffolk semen following natural and synchronized estrus was determined. The serum Progesterone and Estrogen concentration and vaginal electrical resistance (VER) of ewes at the time of ...

Mechanism and Intervention of the NPY1R/CREB Signaling Axis in Regulating Inflammatory Response in Aged Ovarian Granulosa Cells and Ovarian Senescence

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 12, 30 June 2026.
Aging‐associated upregulation of NPY1R drives p‐CREB activation, triggering inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and extracellular matrix imbalance to promote ovarian senescence. Pharmacological inhibition of NPY1R with BIBO 3304 restores ovarian homeostasis, highlighting a therapeutic strategy for reproductive aging. ABSTRACT Ovarian senescence is

Optimizing artificial insemination on swamp buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) through synchronization of estrus and ovulation

open access: yes, 2013
Artificial insemination (AI) program in swamp buffalo will be more efficient by implementing synchronization of estrus and ovulation. By synchronizing of ovulation, AI can be done at a fixed time schedule without concerning to estrus detection ...
