THE KINETICS OF THE FORMATION OF ETHANOLAMINES

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Research, 1947
The formation of ethanolamines from ethylene oxide and ammonia is a case of simultaneous, consecutive, competitive second order reactions. The results obtained show the time at which to stop a reaction for a maximum yield of any one of the three products.

Corrosion inhibition of pure iron in 0.5M H2SO4 solutions by ethanolamines

open access: yesApplied Surface Science, 2005
The inhibition of corrosion of pure iron in 0.5 M H2SO4 by ethanolamines such as mono-, di- and triethanolamines has been investigated by dc polarization and ac impedance techniques.

Vapor pressures and thermophysical properties of selected ethanolamines [PDF]

open access: yesFluid Phase Equilibria, 2018
A thermodynamic study of three ethanolamines, 2-(diethylamino)ethanol, 2-(ethylamino)ethanol and 2- (isopropylamino)ethanol, reporting the measurements of vapor pressure, liquid phase heat capacities, and phase behavior is presented in this work.

‘Entourage’ effects of N -acyl ethanolamines at human vanilloid receptors. Comparison of effects upon anandamide-induced vanilloid receptor activation and upon anandamide metabolism

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, 2002
1 The abilities of a series of saturated N-acyl ethanolamines and related compounds to affect the ability of anandamide (AEA) to produce a Ca2+ influx into human embryonic kidney cells expressing the human vanilloid receptor (hVR1-HEK293 cells) has been ...
