Reinterpretation of Matter-Wave Interference Experiments Based on the Local-Ether Wave Equation [PDF]
Based on the local-ether wave equation for free particle, the dispersion of matter wave is examined. From the dispersion relation, the angular frequency and wavelength of matter wave are derived. These formulas look like the postulates of de Broglie in conjunction with the Lorentz mass-variation law.

Novel conjugated polymers with side‐chain π‐conjugation are developed to enhance organic thermoelectric properties. Remarkably, the pendant doping in the conjugated polymers preserved strong intermolecular ordering in the film states even at high FeCl3 dopant concentrations (16 – 32 mM), achieving a promising power factor > 10 µW m−1 K−2 across a wide ...

Unusual facet and co-catalyst effects in TiO2-based photocatalytic coupling of methane
Photocatalytic coupling of methane to ethane and ethylene (C2 compounds) offers a promising approach to utilizing the abundant methane resource. However, the state-of-the-art photocatalysts usually suffer from very limited C2 formation rates.

Dielectric and refractive index measurements for the systems 1-pentanol + octane, or + dibutyl ether or for dibutyl ether + octane at different temperatures [PDF]
Relative permittivities, $\varepsilon_{r}$, and refractive indixes, $n_{D}$, have been measured at (288.15-308.15) K and (293.15-303.15) K, respectively, for the mixtures 1-pentanol + octane, or + dibutyl ether and dibutyl ether + octane. These data have been used, together with density measurements available in the literature, to determine the ...

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers: occurrence, dietary exposure, and toxicology.
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are used as flame retardants in plastics (concentration, 5--30%) and in textile coatings. Commercial products consist predominantly of penta-, octa-, and decabromodiphenyl ether mixtures, and global PBDE production ...

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Stationary states in reactive distillation columns
An approach to the analysis of stationary reactive distillation states multiplicity is considered with methyl-tert-butyl ether as an example. Three steady states of the process corresponding to different values of the product yield are revealed by means ...

A Strong and Water‐Retaining Biomass Adhesive Inspired by Tofu
Drawing inspiration from the formation mechanism of the traditional food tofu, a strong and water‐retaining adhesive is designed using the soybean meal (SM) oxidized by glucose oxidase (GOx) and calcium sulfate oligomer (CSO). This design strategy effectively addresses the conflicting requirements of water‐resistant bonding strength and water retention
