Inhibition of KDELR2 in a small fraction of tumor cells generates sustainable immunogenic cell death conditions within the tumor microenvironment. These conditions promote the regression of tumors in a T cell independent manner. During regression, macrophages prime T cells that subsequently provide systemic protection against recurrence. The potency of

Therapeutic role and mechanism of human urine stem cells (hUSCs) in pulmonary fibrosis. hUSCs alleviated pulmonary fibrosis by selectively inhibiting macrophage‐myofibroblast transition (MMT) in two ways: on one hand, hUSCs inhibited mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mtROS) production and apoptosis/senescence of epithelial cells in pulmonary ...

The binding of polyamines and of ethidium bromide to tRNA
The binding of spermidine and ethidium bromide to mixed tRNA and phenylalanine tRNA has been studied under equilibrium conditions. The numbers and classes of binding sites obtained have been compared to those found in complexes isolated by gel filtration a low ionic strength. The latter complexes contain 10-11 moles of either spermidine or ethidium per

A cationic poly(disulfide)‐drug nanoplatform (LA/DexP) was developed to treat experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). With potent blood‐retinal barrier penetrability, LA/DexP releases DSP in response to high ROS and scavenges cfDNA to inhibit the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway.

5‐Substituted 2‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐ones are reported as a novel class of highly potent and selective triplex DNA ligands. These ligands induce triplex formation at submicromolar concentrations and inhibit enzymatic activity via ligand‐mediated triplex formation.
