The isolates are resistant to Penicillin G, moderately susceptible to gentamicin and tetracycline, and highly susceptible to amoxicillin and ampicillin.

The Pg OMVs‐associated DNA is incorporated into astrocytes via endocytosis and increases IL‐6 mRNA expression via TLR9.
