Low prevalence of STEC was detected in Black Bengal goats in Bangladesh; however, isolates carrying stx2, ehxA, saa, and subA highlight the presence of atypical strains with zoonotic potential. Identified risk factors emphasize the need for enhanced surveillance and improved farm hygiene practices to mitigate public health risks.

This cross‐sectional study reports the prevalence and molecular characterisation of Cryptosporidium spp. and Giardia duodenalis in Algerian equines. C. equi and C. hominis were detected for the first time in Algerian horses and donkeys, respectively, and equines are identified as potential sources of zoonotic C. parvum subtypes.

Multidrug‐resistant, blaCTX‐M‐driven ESBL E. coli circulates at comparable levels in intensively‐reared and free‐range chicken production systems, consistent with environmental dissemination. One Health surveillance and antimicrobial stewardship are warranted.

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) were isolated and characterized for their antibiotic resistance and safety profiles, as well as their potent antibacterial and antibiofilm activities against pathogens. The most effective strains were successfully identified via 16S rRNA gene sequencing for future functional applications.

We found that the Korean tetraploid Taraxacum coreanum (Co) shows fixed heterozygosity at two dimeric enzyme loci, sod‐1 (aaab) and mdh‐1 (bddd). Allele‐specific comparisons indicate that sod‐1 ‘a’ and mdh‐1 ‘d’ are characteristic of the triploid T. mongolicum (Mo) whereas the ‘b’ alleles at both loci match Korean diploids (e.g., T. hallaisanense, Ha).
